Type or copy & paste /Library/Caches and click Go. Wait a few minutes for the local snapshots to delete. Quickly find files, apps, books, movies, and other items that are taking up space, then manually delete items you no longer need. Click the Finder, then the Go menu at the top of the screen. To disable local snapshots in Time Machine and remove them from your internal storage: Open Time Machine Preferences from the Time Machine menu in the menu bar on your Mac.
